Reliability Analysis and Optimization
Improving rotating equipment reliability is core to the mission of RBB Engineering. We use our knowledge of rotating equipment design and analysis methods, component manufacturing processes, equipment operating conditions, and our in-depth knowledge of the physics behind each of the potential failure mechanisms to quantify the current reliability of rotating equipment. We use this analysis as a baseline, and explore how changes in equipment design, component manufacturing methods, operating conditions, or lubrication affect the reliability of the equipment, along with its cost. By using this methodology, the lowest total cost of ownership design can be developed.
